Steven Lameck Ibrahim is a dedicated graduate of Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST), where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science and Technology(2024). He has built a solid academic foundation in laboratory practices, with a growing interest in public health, environmental safety, and infection control.
During his studies, Steven engaged in meaningful research projects that reflect both scientific curiosity and practical problem-solving skills. He conducted an unpublished study on the determination of organochlorine residues in fish (Tilapia) from Lake Rukwa, addressing important concerns related to environmental pollution and food safety. In addition, he led the development of an efficient automated handwashing system for molecular biology laboratories, aimed at enhancing hygiene standards and minimizing the risk of contamination during laboratory procedures.
Through these projects, Steven has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving laboratory safety, advancing scientific knowledge, and contributing to community health. He is passionate about applying his skills in real-world settings and continues to seek opportunities where he can make a meaningful impact in the field of laboratory science and technology.
