Biography

Biography

Dr Zubeda Seif Mussa is a lecturer in the Department of Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics at Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). Her academic specialisation is in data assimilation, with additional research interests in mathematical epidemiology. She holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, as well as a Master of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science with Education from the University of Dar es Salaam. Dr Zubeda has participated in several research projects related to mathematics education and is an active member of Tanzania Women in Mathematics (TWM) and the Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD).
