Biography

Asha Hamisi Kamungu is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management and a Master of Science degree in Ecosystems Science and Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture. Ms. Kamungu specializes in ecology and teaches undergraduate courses in ecology and biodiversity conservation. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Dar es Salaam, where her doctoral research focuses on the impacts of thermal stress and nutrient loading on marine vegetation.
