Mpologo Kapingu Tungu is an assistant lecturer in the Department of languages and Literature at the Dar es salaam University  College of Education. He was hired in 2015 as a tutorial assistant and ascended to his current designation in 2019 after earning his master's degree (Master of Education) from the University  of Dar es Salaam. Before this achievement, he held Bachelor of Education in Arts from the same University, which was conferred to him in 2014. Currently he is pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Hamburg in Germany, under a project known as Convergence on Dominant Language Constellations.
