Damas Francis Peter is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Economics at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), University of Dar es Salaam. I hold Master of Arts in Geography and Environmental Management, with specialization in environmental disaster management, applied GIS, climate change adaptation, and urban environmental management. Currently pursuing PhD in Geography.
With over 10 years of experience in teaching, and academic administration, taught at both secondary and tertiary levels, supervised undergraduate projects, and contributed to research in geography and environmental management. My professional experience includes leadership roles as Academic Master at Kibiti High School and teaching positions at St. Emmanuel High School and St. Hellen’s English Medium School.
I have participated in international training programs on solid waste management and natural resource governance, and received multiple certificates of excellence for my contributions to education and student success.
