Yovita Albert Vakolavene (PhD) is a lecturer and researcher in history at University of Dar es salaam, DUDE campus since 2008. She holds PhD in history (2023) of the University of Georg-August, Goettingen, Germany: Masters of Arts in African Archaeology (2002) from UCL- London University, United Kingdom: Bachelor of Arts with Education (2001) from University of Dar es salaam, Tanzania.
