Mr. Juvenary Patrick Madyanga is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Geography and Economics within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds an MSc. in Integrated Watershed Management. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and masters at Kenyatta University, Kenya. His teaching areas include geography and disaster-related courses. His research interests and scholarly work focus on climate change and variability, human-environmental interactions, lake ecosystem dynamics, remote sensing, land use and cover change, and water resource management at the catchment level.
