Dr. Jamila M. Ngondo is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Economics, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Geography (specializing in Hydrology) from East China Normal University, an M.Sc. in Integrated Watershed Management from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya, and a B.A. with Education (Honours) from DUCE.
Her teaching areas include Water Resources Planning and Management, Environmental Education and Communication, Spatial Organization, Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation Measures, and Disaster Emergency Needs Assessment and Reporting.
Dr. Ngondo has published several articles in both international and local journals. Her research interests include Watershed Management, Water Resources Planning and Management, Natural Resources Management, and Land Use and Land Cover Change (LULCC).
