Mr. Dominick Lukiko is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Geography and Economics within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He is a PhD scholar in geography and specializes in Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems. He completed both his studies at the University of Dar es Salaam and ITC Twente University in the Netherlands. His teaching areas include spatial geography and Geographical Information systems. His research interests and scholarly work focus on locational studies, medical geography, urban systems and food security.
