Dr. Nelius Rwebangira Neckemiah is a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Literature under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD in Linguistics, with a specialization in Morpho-syntax. Dr. Neckemiah completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. In addition, he obtained a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from Stendhal University (Grenoble 3), France.
His teaching areas include French phonology and phonetics, Morphosyntax, sociolinguistics, and pragmatics. His research interests span pragmatics, phonology and phonetics, and morph syntax.
