Ms. Happylight Joseph Lyimo is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Languages and Literature within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a Master degree in Kiswahili and a Bachelor Degree in Kiswahili both from the University of Dar es Salaam. Her teaching areas include introduction to Kiswahili structure and semantics and pragmatics. Her research interests include foreign language teaching and learning, conversation and discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, cultural linguistics, African Philosophy and Language and Gender.
