Dr. Fides Sylvanus Pangani is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Languages and Literature at Dar es Salaam University College of Education. She holds a PhD in Linguistics and specializes in Sociolinguistics. She earned both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies from the University of Dar es Salaam. She teaches Communication Skills, English language courses, Pragmatics and Sociolinguistics. Her research interests include Discourse Analysis, Critical Discourse Analysis, Language and Gender as well as Language in Education.
