Biography

Mr. Shaibu Issa Champunga is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Languages and Literature. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium. He holds a Master of Arts in Kiswahili as well as a Bachelor of Education in Arts from the University of Dar es Salaam. He teaches, among other subjects, morphology and Lexicography, History of Swahili and Swahili Dialects. His scholarly interests are primarily on Morphology and Lexicography, Swahili Ajami Linguistics and Literature, and Swahili for Foreigners.
