DUCE honours outstanding performance in Chang’ombe Demonstration Primary School
Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) has reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence by recognising high-achieving pupils and teachers from its Chang’ombe Demonstration Primary School.
On 30th January 2026, the College celebrated exceptional performance in the 2025 national examinations and standard four national assessment, commending dedication and hard work across the primary school levels. The event was graced by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Mabula Nkuba.
Reporting on the 2025 examinations and assessments, Head Teacher Mr Ishengoma noted that of the 133 Standard VII candidates, almost all pupils attained A and B average grades, with only a few receiving grade C. In this regard, DUCE presented awards to 26 pupils who earned Grade A in all subjects, recognising their exemplary performance. Similarly, the College awarded 19 pupils who achieved Grade A in all subjects in the Standard Four National Assessment.
The award ceremony highlighted DUCE’s continued investment in its demonstration schools and its dedication to fostering a culture of academic excellence. By recognising and rewarding outstanding performance, the College continues to inspire both teachers and learners to strive for even greater success.
