Modester Ndelilio Nanyaro is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Development Studies at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) .She teaches undergraduate courses in Development Studies. Her academic work focuses on inclusive and sustainable development, socio-economic of urban and rural life, gender equity in development practice and Healthy approach on Food and Nutrition Literacy.

Beyond teaching. Nanyaro actively engages in research and consultancy on Poverty reduction, economic and political development, government and social justice, and Healthy Literacy often collaborating with local communities.

She is adoring about advancing evidence-based on social, economic, and political issues to understand and address development challenges. Analyze the impacts of development policies and projects on communities, collaborating with academics, practitioners, and community members to develop new theories and insights.
