Cecilia Peter Swai is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations, Management and Lifelong Learning; Faculty of Education at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education. She teaches Foundational courses such as Sociology of Education, History of Education at the undergraduate level and Gender Concepts in Educational Leadership and Management, Comparative Education at the postgraduate level. She has researched fundamental issues related to inequalities found in the education system in Tanzania, particularly for vulnerable groups such as orphans, working children, and pastoral communities.
