Shauji Saidi Mpota is a Tutorial Assistant in the Department of History, Political Science and Development Studies within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Dar es salaam University College of Education (DUCE). He holds Bachelor Degree of Arts with Education from the University of Dar es salaam Mwalimu Nyerere Mlimani Campus. He is committed to advancing Historical scholarship though researches, participation in history seminar series conducted within the college and attending and participating in the conferences of the Historical Association of Tanzania. Mr Mpota's research areas are Environmental and  social Histories.
