Biography

Biography

Ambokile Okey Mwarobona is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, Faculty of Science, at Dar es Salaam University College of Education, where he has been serving since 2016. He teaches undergraduate courses in programming and database systems.

 He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Science and Engineering from Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Information and Communication Science and Engineering at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology.

His research interests include computer vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and information systems development. His PhD research focuses on developing deep learning models for individual identification of lions, advancing wildlife monitoring and conservation efforts.
