Biography

Neema Eugene Shiyo is an Assistant Lecturer at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), where she teaches courses in Public Administration, including Local Government Administration and Civil Society and the State. She possesses extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic service, and is deeply committed to fostering academic excellence through innovative instruction, impactful research, and meaningful mentorship.

Her academic interests lie at the intersection of governance, public administration, and civil society, with a strong focus on advancing critical thinking and analytical skills among university candidates. Through her teaching and research, she actively contributes to the development of informed and engaged citizens capable of addressing contemporary governance challenges in Tanzania and beyond.

Ms. Shiyo has authored and co-authored scholarly publications that reflect her commitment to advancing knowledge in governance and digital transformation. She remains passionate about contributing to the academic community through leadership in scholarly activities, collaborative research projects, and institutional development initiatives that strengthen higher education in Tanzania and globally.
