Mr. Innocent John Junior is a Tutorial Assistant in meteorology and climate change within the Department of Geography and Economics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Dar es Salaam, where he developed a strong foundation in atmospheric science, climate dynamics, and environmental analysis. His teaching areas include climatology, climate change and remote sensing. His research interests span a wide range of interconnected themes, including the science of climate change, societal responses to climate variability, and the integration of climate change into environmental impact assessments. His expertise also includes climatology, climate forecasting models, synoptic meteorology, and the behavior of tropical systems under shifting climate conditions. Through his work, Mr. Junior aims to contribute to both academic knowledge and practical solutions that support environmental sustainability and informed policy-making.
