Mr Shabani Mohamedi Mwakalinga is an assistant lecturer in the Department of History, Political Science and Development Studies. He Holds a Master of Arts in History. He also holds a Bachelor of Education in Arts. He completed both his Bachelor's and Master's Degree studies at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2009 and 2018, respectively. His teaching areas include African Region histories, mining and the History of religion. His research interests and scholarly works focus on Mining, religion encounters, religion and State and Islamic law.
