Ms. Selina William Wayimba is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Languages and literature. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Rhodes University in South Africa. She holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics as well as a Bachelor of Arts with Education from the University of Dar es Salaam. She teaches, among others, phonology and phonetics, African linguistics, Second Language Learning, and Research Methods for Linguists. Her scholarly interests are primarily on phonology and phonetics, psycholinguistics of literacy, and second language acquisition.
