Biography

Dr. Budeba Petro Mlyakado is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies at Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). He joined DUCE in August 2009 after earning a Bachelor of Education in Arts from the University of Dar es Salaam and quickly progressed, completing his Master of Arts in Applied Social Psychology at the same university in November 2009. Motivated by a dedication to comprehensive research, Dr. Mlyakado earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social and Behavioural Sciences at City University of Hong Kong in October 2016. His impactful research has been published in respected local and international peer-reviewed journals and shared through prominent platforms globally. In addition to his notable research work, he is passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders and researchers, inspiring students to critically engage with complex topics and pursue academic excellence.
