Dr. Maregesi A.M. Machumu is a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). He holds a Ph.D. in Education (specialising in Early Childhood Education) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Dr. Machumu also holds a Master of Arts in Applied Social Psychology (MA ASP) and a B.A (Education) from the University of Dar es Salaam. His research areas of interest include linking play and learning, Child protection, Developmental psychology, integrating STEM in early years teaching, early literacy development, monitoring and evaluation, learning assessment, and professional development.
