Mr. Juma Sija is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of the Faculty of Science. He holds a Master of Science in Physics. He also holds Bachelor of Science with Education in Physics and Mathematics. He completed both his Bachelor and Master Degree studies at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2017 and 2023, respectively. His teaching areas include electromagnetism, experimental methods of physics, mathematical methods of physics, quantum physics, atomic physics and nuclear physics. His research interests and scholarly work focus on nuclear physics, specifically nuclear techniques and applications, radiation dosimetry and protection, and related fields.
