Biography

Dr. Heri Ambonisye Kayange is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics (PMI) at Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), a constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a PhD in Thermal Power Engineering obtained at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) in China. He specializes in energy efficiency and energy saving technologies especially through heat integration using heat exchanger networks. He has published several papers in the field in reputable international journals. He also has a Master degree of Science (Physics) and a Bachelor degree of Science with Education obtained at the University of Dar es Salaam. His MSc (Physics) research pertained to energy saving with the use of thermochromic window coatings. In his BSc (Ed) programme, he majored in Physics and Mathematics. He is currently the coordinator for postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Science at DUCE.
