The College holds ARIS 3 training for Heads of Departments and Examination Officers
On Friday, 14th March 2025, the College organized a seminar for Heads of Departments and Examination Officers to orient them on uploading examinations and supporting postgraduate students in their academic journey.
The seminar was officiated by the Director of Research and Innovation, Prof. Amani Lusekelo, on behalf of the Deputy Principal (Academic, Research, and Consultancy), Dr. Christina Raphael Isingo.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Lusekelo stated that the team’s mandate is to ensure that every student's result plays a significant role in shaping and determining their academic success. He also emphasized the importance of integrity among team members, stressing that they must adhere to principles and ethical standards. This means that team members should act with honesty and professionalism in every decision and action.
Additionally, team members were urged to manage stress and pressures from students, lecturers, and management regarding performance in general. Prof. Lusekelo noted that, while executing their duties, students may come forward with complaints and challenges that raised during examination processes.
The event was also attended by two facilitators: Ms. Lai Kasanga from the University of Dar es Salaam (Main Campus) and Ms. Naomi Mushi from DUCE.
All of these issues underline the importance of maintaining quality, reputation, effective service and management in education within the institution.
