Dr. Lameck E. Mpalanzi is a Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Literature. He also works as the Head of Communication and Marketing Unit and the Chairman of the Website Editorial Board at Dar es Salaam University College of Education. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. His areas of teaching include the Interface of African Philosophy and literature, Pan- Africanists and their World View, Fictions and Creative Writing, Themes and Artistic Techniques in Swahili Literature and African Lliterature Today. His scholarly works and research focus on African Religion and Philosophy, Black/African Aesthetics, African Indigenous Knowledge, the Cultural Ecology and Ethnobotany in African Communities, the World Literature Vs African/Swahil iLliterature.
