Biography

Dr. Margareth Bilinga is a distinguished Senior Lecturer at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), part of the University of Dar es Salaam. With a specialization in Educational Foundations, Management, and Lifelong Learning, Dr. Bilinga has a wealth of experience in academia. She previously served as the head of the Department of Educational Foundations, Management, and Lifelong Learning and currently holds a position as a member of the Research on Child Protection and Violence Prevention (CPVP) team. Additionally, she serves as a board member for the Africa Amani Institute (AAI), formerly known as Integrity Watch, an organization dedicated to training, research, mentorship, and consultancy in peacekeeping efforts. Bilinga's research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including sexuality education, Comparative education, moral education, policy issues, and digital learning. Her dedication to these areas of study has led to numerous publications and contributions to the field of education.
