Dar es Salaam University College of Education has awarded students who performed exceptionally high in their University Examinations (2017/2018). A total of six (6) students from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Humanities received certificates of distinction. The names of the best students are Lohi Ako (Education), Rugembe Bwire (Education), Mesia Simbeye (Science), Daniel Clemence (Science), Francis Lazaro (Humanities), and John William (Humanities).
Speaking during a brief ceremony at the College, the Deputy Principal (Academic), Dr. Julius Mbuna, urged the students to work even harder to outperform their present performances in their final years.
“The examinations results for which you are awarded for today should give you a synergy to grab more awards in future,” Dr. Mbuna told the students adding that the awards aimed at motivating the students to increase vitality to learn.
The Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies (CUS), Dr. Hezron Onditi, congratulated the students saying that the College was proud of the students’ hard work. “The College Principal, Prof. Bernadeta Killian, sends his regards to you,” Dr. Onditi said explaining that he expected to see them with shining results in their final year examinations next year.
