The 5th UDSM Research Week kicked off on 6th May and reached its climax on 8th May, 2019 at the Main campus of the University of Dar es salaam. During this annual event, all the UDSM faculties, colleges, schools and institutions participate. It is an event planned to facilitate showcasing of various research outputs and dissemination of research findings to a wider community.   

During this year, DUCE was represented by researchers who excelled from their faculties, namely; Humanities and Social Sciences, Education and Science. A number of projects and researches were showcased at the College pavilion which was located along the entrance of Nkrumah Hall at the UDSM Main campus.

Those who scooped top awards from DUCE were Dr. Siana Nkya (The first Winner in the category of the best Public Service), Dr. Nkuba Mabula (The first winner in the best Individual/groups research project), the Gender Unit (Department which have excelled in attracting research funds. The overall first winner for DUCE was Dr. Nkuba Mabula.

We congratulate all the participants and the winners in different positions and categories.
