The entire community of DUCE met on 20th July 2018 to bid farewell to the three outgoing top leaders. First, the former Principal of Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), Prof. William A. L Anangisye, who was appointed the Vice Chancellor of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). Second, the former Deputy Principal (Administration) who was appointed Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment. Third, the former Deputy Principal (academic), Prof. Godliving Y. S. Mtui, who was appointed the Director of Postgraduate Studies (DPGS) for the University of Dar es salaam (UDSM).
